About Us

The Lord’s Heritage is a family church that exudes the love of Jesus Christ. We seek to communicate the power that is embedded in the name of Jesus Christ and in the word of God so that our members can perpetually live a life of victory.

WHO WE ARE

The Lord’s Heritage is one of the branches of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
RCCG was founded in 1952. The church has grown to more than 20,000 parishes all over the nations of the world. The Lord’s Heritage commenced as a branch of RCCG in July 2011 and God has consistently been increasing the church spiritually and numerically.

Developing Christian Character

Pastor Olayinka Olaniyan is the founding and senior Pastor of RCCG The Lord’s Heritage. We have a determination to develop Christian character in our members by taking Christianity from the level of religion to a way of life.

Redeemed

Our Roots

The Redeemed Christian Church of God commenced in 1952 following God’s dealing with a man of God – Pa Josiah Akindayomi – in Nigeria, Africa. Although Pa Akindayomi could neither read nor write the English language, God presented the name of the church to him in the English language. God also made several astonishing promises to him concerning the church. Before Pa Akindayomi went to be with the Lord in 1980, God revealed to him that the current president of the church (the General Overseer) – Pastor Enoch Adeboye – would succeed him. Pastor Adeboye was then a Mathematics professor. Pa Akindayomi recognized Pastor Adeboye immediately he joined the church and started training and nurturing him. Under Pastor Adeboye, God has done unprecedented things in the church.

Today, the church has more than 5,000 branches worldwide with about 200 branches in North America alone. To the glory of God, the Church is noted for the effectiveness of its prayers, demonstration of God’s healing power and teaching its members to live a life of holiness.

Presently, there are thousands of established missions in the United States, most African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, food banks, child care and support centers.
